Come il fratello minore apprende dal padre i primi rudimenti della pittura ma, per la sua condizione di donna, a differenza di Cesare, non le è concesso andare a studiare presso altri maestri. Rimarrà sempre nello studio paterno, fedele collaboratrice di Pietro prima e del fratello poi
