Shipping and tracking
Objects are not warehoused. A lot stays with its owner until it is sold, and then travels once — directly to the buyer, under a tracked service, within a deadline the platform enforces.

How shipping is quoted
Each lot carries one of five methods, set at cataloguing and shown before you bid: calculated by destination and weight, a fixed manual rate, free shipping, local collection, or specialist handling for fragile and high-value material.
Paid with the invoice
Shipping is quoted with the hammer price, buyer's fee and any tax due, and is settled in the same payment. There is no second invoice for carriage.
The despatch deadline
Once your payment has cleared, the consignor has the published despatch deadline to hand the lot to the carrier and record the tracking. Overdue despatch is escalated by VALÉORINE, not left to the buyer to chase.
Tracked services only
Approved tracked and signed services are required, with insurance appropriate to the value. Untracked despatch does not discharge the consignor's obligation and does not release settlement.
Packing standards
Paper, photographs and bindings must be packed flat or supported, in rigid, moisture-resistant materials, with the sale and lot reference enclosed. Specialist handling is arranged by VALÉORINE where the material requires it.
Following your parcel
Tracking appears in your account as soon as it is recorded, together with the carrier, the service used and the expected delivery. Delivery starts the protection window.
Customs and duties
Cross-border consignments are declared at the sale value. Import duties and taxes levied by the destination country are the buyer's responsibility and are not part of the invoice.
If it does not arrive
You have the published protection window from delivery to raise a discrepancy, and a non-delivery may be reported at any time while the parcel is outstanding. Funds stay with VALÉORINE until the matter is resolved.
The despatch deadline and protection window shown here are read from the rules in force on the platform, which calculates each deadline in business days from cleared payment.
