Fees and total cost
Two fees exist on VALÉORINE and no others are invented for a sale: a buyer's fee added to the hammer price, and a consignor fee deducted from it. Both are published, versioned, and recorded against every transaction to which they are applied.

The buyer's fee
The buyer's fee in force is shown on every lot before a bid is placed.
- Shown in full on the lot, with tax and shipping, before a bid is confirmed.
- Payable to VALÉORINE with the hammer price within the published payment terms.
The consignor fee
The consignor fee in force is confirmed in writing before an object is published.
- Deducted from the hammer price on the statement of account.
- Settled within the published settlement terms once the conditions of release are met.
- Any charge on an unsold lot is stated in your consignment terms.
Tax
Tax is applied where it is due, on the basis published for each sale.
Shipping
Shipping is separate from both fees and is quoted according to the method offered on the lot: calculated, manual, free, local collection, or specialist handling.
Why these figures can be trusted
This page does not contain a rate. It reads the fee scale currently in force and displays it; when VALÉORINE publishes a new fee scale, the website changes with it, and every past transaction keeps the version under which it was concluded.
