Zdeněk Nejedlý

Zdeněk Nejedlý was a politician, musicologist, journalist, writer, composer and music educator (1878–1962). He was born in Litomyšl and died in Prague.

Zdeněk Nejedlý worked in history, music history, history of literature, history of the Czech lands and literary studies.

He was employed by Charles University and Lomonosov Moscow State University. Recorded position is member of parliament. He belonged to Union of Soviet Composers, German Academy of Sciences at Berlin, Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Hungarian Academy of Sciences and Russian Academy of Sciences.

Zdeněk Nejedlý is recorded as having received Order of Lenin, Order of Klement Gottwald and Order of Building of the Socialist Homeland.
