Born at Chornyi Ostriv in 1929, died in Lviv in 2016.
Volodymyr Patyk studied at Lviv National Academy of Arts.
Distinctions recorded are Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, 5th class, anniversary medal for the 20 years of independence of Ukraine and People's Painter of Ukraine.
