Die neugotischen Grabmale der Familie Weckbecker wurden von 1822 bis 1862 errichtet. Der Gutsbesitzer und Kaufmann Franz Georg Severus Weckbecker schenkte 1823 das Friedhofsareal seiner Heimatstadt unter der Bedingung, diese Stelle, an der sich damals der Eingang zum Friedhof befand, für die Grabmale seiner Familienangehörigen freizuhalten.
