Leo Whelan
Illustration — Plaque on Leo Whelan's former home, 67 Eccles Street Leo Whelan RHA (10 January 1892 – 6 November 1956) was an Irish painter. His work was part of the painting event in the art competition at the 1932 Summer Olympics. Leo Whelan was born in Dublin and educated at Belvedere College and the Metropolitan School of Art, Whelan was a student of William Orpen.
