Biography
He writes essays on music-phenomenological topics and is co-editor of a series of books titled Copyrights, Kulturverlag Kadmos, Berlin (in collaboration with Dirk Baecker). At Witten/Herdecke, he also established and implemented a new curriculum for philosophy and humanities focusing on "Philosophie und Kulturreflexion". He is Professor of Composition and Theory at the University of Music and Drama Hamburg and as well head of the Werner Richard - Dr. Carl Dörken-Chair for Phenomenology of Music at the University Witten/Herdecke.
