Biography
She was a Premio Nacional de Cultura laureate in 1979 and 2012. Between 2012 and 2015 her collection was deposited in the Biblioteca de Catalunya, consisting of about 400 drawings.
Carme Solé Vendrell studied at Massana School. The recorded working language is Catalan and Spanish. The field of work recorded is book illustration and children's and young adult literature. Employment is recorded with Pompeu Fabra University. Work by Carme Solé Vendrell is recorded in the collections of Museu Comarcal Salvador Vilaseca and Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. Distinctions recorded are Saint George's Cross and Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts.
