Nikolas Ormaetxea (1888–1961) was an essayist, poet and translator, among other activities, of Spanish nationality. The essayist was born Nicolás Ormaechea Pellejero in Orexa and died in Añorga. Nikolas Ormaetxea was also known as Orixe.
Nikolas Ormaetxea held the position of full member of the Basque language academy. Activity centred on creative and professional writing. Nikolas Ormaetxea was associated with Euskal Pizkundea.
