Marius Bourrelly (1820–1896) was a French playwright, poet and rentier, among other activities. The playwright was born Marius Dominique Bourrelly in Aix-en-Provence. Marius Bourrelly was also known as Blagoben de Poucieou and Lou Felibre de la Caussano.
Marius Bourrelly was a member of Académie de Toulon and Athénée ouvrier de Marseille and held the positions of 'majoral' of the Félibrige and Mayor of Pourcieux, among others. The playwright was associated with Félibrige and literary realism.
Languages used include Occitan. Marius Bourrelly received master of the joyful knowledge of the Félibrige.

Marius Bourrelly was born in 1820 in Aix-en-Provence, France.
Career
Career
Bourrelly wrote many poems, plays, legends and songs in Provençal. In a poem, he praised Emperor Napoleon for visiting Lyon shortly after the flood of 1856. He became a member of the Félibrige.
