Ghassan Kanafani

Ghassan Fayiz Kanafani (8April 19368July 1972) was a prominent Palestinian author and militant, considered to be a leading novelist of his generation and one of the Arab world's leading writers. Kanafani's works have been translated into more than 17 languages. Kanafani was born in Acre, then part of Mandatory Palestine, in 1936.
