Ding Guanpeng
Illustration — Ding Guanpeng, The Feng City portion of Chang'an during the time of Liu Bang at the start of the Han Dynasty Ding Guanpeng (active 1708–1771) was a Chinese painter who lived during the Qing dynasty. A native of Beijing, he was active from the later part of the Kangxi era (1661–1722) to the middle part of the Qianlong era (1735–96). At one point he studied oil painting under Giuseppe Castiglione.

Work by Ding Guanpeng is recorded in the collections of Minneapolis Institute of Art, National Palace Museum, The Palace Museum, Bryn Mawr College Special Collections and Shanghai Museum.
Liu Bang (劉邦), also known as Emperor Gaozu of Han (漢高祖), was originally from Fengyi (豐邑, present-day Fengxian, Jiangsu), but settled in the capital Chang'an (長安) after proclaiming himself emperor. However, his father became nostalgic for their hometown, so Liu Bang had some streets of Chang'an rebuilt to imitate those of Feng and also ordered the residents from the old hometown to move to Chang'an
