Aert Pietersz
Illustration — Rich Kids, Poor Parents by Aert Pietersz, Rijksmuseum, 1599 Aert Pietersz (1550–1612) was a Dutch Golden Age painter. Pietersz was born and died in Amsterdam. According to Karel van Mander, he was the second son of Pieter Aertsen, the younger brother of Pieter Pietersz the Elder, and the older brother of Dirck Pietersz.

Ronde voorstelling van het Laatste Oordeel. In de hemel troont Christus tussen heiligen en engelen met de passiewerktuigen. In de wolken blazen engelen op bazuinen. Op aarde rijzen de doden uit hun graven, in het midden de aartsengel Michaël. Links engelen met de geredde zielen, rechts trekken duivels aan de verdoemden. In de vier hoeken de symbolen van de evangelisten met banderollen.
