Adolf Černý

Adolf Černý was a Czechoslovak linguist, poet, pedagogue, writer, university teacher and journalist (1864–1952). He was born in Hradec Králové and died in Prague.

Adolf Černý worked in Slavic studies, ethnography, history, poetry and journalism.

He was employed by Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague and Charles University. He belonged to Czech Academy of Science and Art. He worked at Prague, Warsaw and Rome.
