Abu al-Faraj al-Isfahani

Frontispice of a manuscript of Kitāb al-Aghānī (Book of Songs) of Abu al-Faraj al-Isfahani. It may be a representation of Badr al-Din Lu'lu' (died 1259), Ruler of Mosul. His name (بدر الدين لولو) is readable on the tiraz bands of the sleeves.
