Educational and research activities of ONTU provides 104 doctors/professors and 388 PhD/associate professors. ONTU cooperates with 50 institutions from more than 20 countries worldwide, as well as with numerous national and international companies in scientific and training fields. It is a member of several international associations, including the European Universities Association, Eurasian Universities Union, Black Sea Universities Network, International Council for Open and Distance Education, the Observatory Magna Charta Universitatum, and others. Before 2021, the university was named the Odesa National Academy of Food Technologies.
