Ludwig Emil Grimm (1790–1863) was an illustrator, painter and printmaker, among other activities, a national of the Electorate of Hesse. The illustrator was born in Hanau and died in Kassel.

Ludwig Emil Grimm was educated at Academy of Fine Arts, Munich. The illustrator worked for Kunsthochschule Kassel. Activity centred on engraving, etching and visual arts.
