Kim Myeong-guk

Portrait of Yi Sang-gil (1556 ~ 1637). After serving as a professor at the Ministry of Education in 1585, he served as a peacekeeping auditor. This portrait is 93 cm in width and 185 cm in height and depicts sitting on a chair. The head is worn with a low-profile, red-colored uniform, and both hands are not visible in the sleeve. This posture is a feature that appears in the mid-Joseon portrait. H
