Íñigo López de Mendoza, 1st Marquis of Santillana

Íñigo López de Mendoza, 1st Marquess of Santillana (19 August 1398 – 25 March 1458) was a Castilian politician and poet who held an important position in society and literature during the reign of John II of Castile.

Retrato del célebre escritor y aristócrata español Íñigo López de Mendoza (1398-1458), que fue marqués de Santillana. Esta obra es una copia del retrato idéntico del marqués ubicado en el Retablo de los Gozos de Santa María o Altar de los Ángeles, que fue realizado por Jorge Inglés en 1455.
