Golden Cockerel Press

Homeric hymn is bound in mustard goatskin inlaid with red, grey and white, and tooled in white, grey, dark red, light and dark blue and blind (tooled without the use of colour). The spine is tooled in brown, the fore and bottom text edges are untrimmed, and the top text edges are gilt. Edgar Mansfield (1907-1996) was one of New Zealand’s most renowned expatriate artists, and was widely recognised,
