History
History
The history of Fujishima High School can be traced back to the han school of Fukui Domain, Meidōkan established in 1855. In 1857, the renowned samurai, philosopher, and political reformer Hashimoto Sanai became the headmaster and modernized the curriculum by including western medical science and military strategy alongside traditional Confucian philosophy.
