Fritz Spindler (1817–1905) was a German composer, pianist and musicologist.

Born at Wurzbach in 1817, died in Niederlößnitz in 1905.
Training under Friedrich Schneider is recorded. Stephen A. Emery and Marie König are recorded as having studied under Fritz Spindler. The recorded working language is German.
