Andrew Carter

Andrew Carter (13 December 1939 – 5 January 2026) was an English composer, pedagogue, conductor and arranger. Carter conducted choral concerts in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. He was known for choral works such as an arrangement of the carol "A maiden most gentle", his Benedicite and a mass for the tercentenary of St Paul's Cathedral in London.
