Public while the sale is open
Every catalogue is fully public before and during a sale: descriptions, condition, provenance, estimates, increments and the standing bid. Nothing material is withheld from a prospective bidder.
Results
VALÉORINE does not operate a public database of past auction results. Prices are transparent while a sale is open, and private once it has concluded.

Every catalogue is fully public before and during a sale: descriptions, condition, provenance, estimates, increments and the standing bid. Nothing material is withheld from a prospective bidder.
When a sale closes, its catalogue and its prices leave public discovery. We do not maintain a searchable record of hammer prices, and concluded sales are excluded from our sitemap and from search engines.
Buyers and consignors are never identified, and the price a private collection achieved is not left on public record for the benefit of dealers, insurers or search engines.
Research, cataloguing notes and published scholarship stay available permanently, because they are contributions to knowledge rather than commercial records.
Enquiries
Consignors receive a complete statement for their own property, including the price achieved and every deduction. Buyers receive a full invoice for their own purchases. If you require information about an object for research, insurance or probate, write to us and a specialist will consider the request.
