Natsume Sōseki

Natsume Sōseki was a Japanese writer, poet, novelist, university teacher and narrator (1867–1916). He was born in Kikuichō and died in Waseda-Minamichō.

Biography

Natsume Sōseki was recorded at birth as 夏目 金之助. The authorities additionally record the headings Natsume Kinnosuke, Soseki Natsume, Kinnosuke Natsume, Souseki Natsume and Sōseki. His recorded language was Japanese.
